A commercial has a job: earn attention in the first two seconds and make one point before the viewer leaves. That is a different craft from a brand film. It is written to a length, shot for the placement, and cut so the message survives being watched on mute at arm's length.

Spots produced here are made as media — scripted against a real offer, shot on cinema glass, graded properly, and delivered in every duration and aspect ratio the buy calls for.

The craft standard

The cinematography and editing behind this work is Telly Award-winning. In practice that means the lighting holds up on a large screen, the audio was captured properly rather than fixed afterwards, and the grade was built rather than filtered.

What a commercial engagement covers

  1. The offer, then the script

What the spot is actually asking the viewer to do, decided first. A beautiful commercial for an unclear offer is an expensive way to be forgotten.

  2. Shot list and schedule

Every setup planned against the deliverable list before the shoot day, so one morning produces a campaign rather than a single cut.

  3. Production

Cinema camera and cine glass, dedicated audio, controlled lighting, and direction of on-camera talent — staff or professional.

  4. Post and delivery

Grade, sound, captions, and versions: 6, 15, 30, and 60 second cuts, 16:9, 1:1, and 9:16, plus the broadcast-spec master if it is going to air.

Built for where it runs

  • Broadcast and cable — delivered to station spec, with the legal and disclaimer handling that requires
  • Connected TV and pre-roll — hook in the first two seconds, message before the skip
  • Paid social — sound-off legible, captioned, vertical-native rather than a cropped horizontal
  • Site and email — the same spot, cut short, doing conversion work on the page

The part most shops skip

A commercial nobody buys media against is a showreel. Spots produced here are handed to the same operator running the paid media, so the creative and the buy are built for each other rather than introduced afterwards.
